Regan never had any plans to be a journalist, or even a TV anchor in her high school and college period. Her passion was music and she dreamed of becoming an opera performer. She studied music at several reputed schools. Regan started her career at a hedge fund. She was later offered a job with CBS MarketWatch. Regan began her career as a CBS Evening News correspondent. Regan was then promoted to CNBC and created documentary films, as well as hosting a show on a daily basis. In her time at CNBC she won the award of the award for the Emmy Awards' Best Documentary. Regan worked briefly for Bloomberg Television. Regan is a part of the Fox News Channel's most popular shows. Regan is also an official business correspondent for the network. Regan received many awards and accolades for the quality of her journalism. She's also come under severe criticism for the controversial statements she made about a range of political issues.
